Step 1:
Attach the microscope camera to the microscope. Please see the laboratory technician if you require assistance with this step.
Step 2:
Switch the camera on to USB mode (the middle option).
Step 3:
Connect the camera to the computer with the USB cable.
Step 4:
Open the Start Menu and click on the Search bar
Note: This screenshot is from Windows 11. This will look different if you are using a different version of Windows.
Step 5:
Type in Camera and click on the Camera application in the search results.
Step 6:
Click on the Switch Camera icon in the top right corner until it says 'USB Camera' on the screen.
Step 7:
Use the buttons on the right hand side to record a video or take a photo.
Step 8:
Once you've taken a video or a photo, click on the thumbnail in the bottom right corner to open the photo gallery.
Step 9:
Once the photo is open, you can copy it or open the folder containing the photo by clicking on the share icon in the top right corner and then choosing the appropriate option.
