If you can't connect to the wireless network, please check the following:
- Are you using the correct username?
- CHES users - your username is your CHES email address
- Melbourne High users - your username is your MHS email address
- Other partner school users - your username is your Education or eduPass email address
- Are you using the correct password?
- CHES users - you can reset your forgotten password via our self-service website. Please view this guide for more information: https://helpdesk.ches.vic.edu.au/en/support/solutions/articles/51000375929-reset-forgotten-password
- Partner school users - please contact your school's IT department for assistance with your password
- Are you connecting to the right network?
- CHES and partner school users connect to eduSTAR_C
- Other Department of Education staff and external visitors connect to eduSTAR_Guest
If you are connected to the correct network but still cannot access the internet, please check the following:
- Are you using a VPN or proxy service on your device and/or web browser? If so, these will prevent internet access. Please disable these to access the internet.
- Are you using a managed web browser? Sometimes a managed web browser from another school can prevent internet access depending on the settings used. Please try a different browser, browser profile or a private browsing window.
